Specialty Care Transport Units

When a situation arises requiring the transport of a critically ill or injured patient it is comforting to know that Amb-U-Car Ambulance Service has two New Jersey State Certified Specialty Care Transport Units.

Under the direction of Cheng Teng- Wang M.D. Dr. Wang is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and is Medical Director of the Emergency Department at the Jersey City Medical Center. We are able to transport the most critical of patients. Our Specialty Care Transport Units are staffed by two Emergency Medical Technicians and a Registered Nurse that has special training in the care of critical care patients. Our nurses have the title Critical Care Nurse in additions to Registered Nurse.

All of our Specialty Care Units are equipped with the latest in life saving equipment including 12 lead bi-phasic cardiac monitors, medication pumps, invertors, defibrillators, ventilators, intubation sets and a host of life sustaining medications.

Ambulance Service-24 Hours
Amb-U-Car provides 24 hour emergency and non-emergency ambulance service. Amb-U-Car ambulances are in operation 24 hours a day 7 days a week and are staffed by at least two emergency medical technicians licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health.

Wheel Chair Van Services (MAV)
Amb-U-Car provides 7 days per week wheel chair van services (MAV) to doctors office visits, dialysis for any medical appointments. This service is also available for public or private function.

Air Ambulance

Amb-U-Car has the resources to handle any airlift transportation whether by jet, twin prop, or helicopter. Domestic and International.

Public and Private Events

Amb-U-Car provides ambulance and first aid service for all sporting events, for public and private schools as well as for professional and semi- professional sporting events.

Training

Amb-U-Car's instructors and trainers provide courses in healthcare CPR and M.A.V.T. training on our premises to organizations and individuals public and private.
